Method of Determining the Preliminary Ranking List of Candidates
The maximum number of points a candidate may achieve on the Preliminary Ranking is 100. The Faculty of Organizational Sciences forms the Preliminary Ranking List of candidates considering the following criteria:
- up to 40 points based on secondary school grades,
- up to 60 points based on the Mathematics entrance examination.
Achievement in secondary school is calculated as the sum of the average grades achieved in each grade of secondary school multiplied by 2. On this basis, a candidate may earn a minimum of 16 and a maximum of 40 points. The final score for general secondary school achievement is rounded by two decimal places.
The achievement of candidates who have completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) is calculated as follows: the average grades from the first two years of secondary school account for a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 20 points (calculated as the sum of the average grades multiplied by 2), and the IB Diploma is valued at a maximum of 20 points. An IB Diploma is awarded only to students who achieve a minimum cumulative score of 24, while the maximum cumulative score is 45. According to the principles for evaluating secondary school certificates in Serbia, a cumulative score of 24 corresponds to 8 points, and a cumulative grade of 45 corresponds to 20 points.
The calculation formula is as follows:
Number of points = 8 + (cumulative grade – 24) · 12/21
A candidate may earn from 0 to 60 points on the entrance exam.
Candidates who, during the third or fourth year of secondary school, won one of the first three prizes in a national or international competition included in the competition calendar of the Ministry of Education (hereinafter: the Ministry), in the subject taken in the entrance exam may be awarded the maximum number of points for that subject.
When compiling the ranking list of candidates for enrollment, the higher education institution first ranks candidates enrolling for the first time at that level of study and at that higher education institution, followed by all other candidates.

The preliminary ranking list of candidates will be published on 26 June 2026, by 24:00 on the following website: https://bsc.fon.bg.ac.rs/
